PETER
DANIELS, Painter. Born Salford 1935–1998, lived in Pembrokeshire,
Wales since 1965. Selected to attend Manchester Junior Art School followed
by Manchesester College of Art. Designer for Calico Printers for five years
before working in the Advertising Industry.
Returned to full-time painting in the 1970s. Involved with The International
Hermeneutic Society where he later met his wife Elizabeth. Moved to
Pembrokeshire in 1982 and opened their Studio/Gallery at The Pink House,
Nine Wells, Solva. Worked in watercolour, pastel, acrylic, mixed media
and oil colour.
World leader in using and developing computer technology in the arts.
1994, commissioned to paint the largest murals in Great Britain – The
Wyastone Murals. Unveiled posthumously in 2003, at the Wyastone
Concert Hall, Monmouth.
